Loop is made by a team of eleven in Oslo and Lisbon. No investors, no growth team, no engagement metrics. Just an app we wanted for ourselves.
The short story
Loop started in 2021 as a spreadsheet with three columns: plan, focus, repeat. The spreadsheet worked better than every productivity app we had installed, which felt like a bug in the universe worth fixing.
Most tools optimize for time in app. We optimize for time out of it: open Loop, see your day, close it, live. The average session is 14 seconds long and we are proud of that number.
Today two million people plan with Loop. We are still eleven humans, still independent, and still measuring success in closed loops rather than opened notifications.

No streak anxiety, no red badges, no confetti unless you earned it. Loop is quiet on purpose.

End to end encryption, no ads, no data sales, ever. You pay for Loop, so you are the customer, not the product.
