About

We build for fewer, better hours.

Loop is made by a team of eleven in Oslo and Lisbon. No investors, no growth team, no engagement metrics. Just an app we wanted for ourselves.

The short story

Loop started in 2021 as a spreadsheet with three columns: plan, focus, repeat. The spreadsheet worked better than every productivity app we had installed, which felt like a bug in the universe worth fixing.

Most tools optimize for time in app. We optimize for time out of it: open Loop, see your day, close it, live. The average session is 14 seconds long and we are proud of that number.

Today two million people plan with Loop. We are still eleven humans, still independent, and still measuring success in closed loops rather than opened notifications.

Three promises

01

Calm is the feature

No streak anxiety, no red badges, no confetti unless you earned it. Loop is quiet on purpose.

02

Privacy is the product

End to end encryption, no ads, no data sales, ever. You pay for Loop, so you are the customer, not the product.

03

Small team, long game

Independent and profitable since year one. Loop will still be here, and still yours, in a decade.

We use our own evenings

The whole team closes their loop at five. Support answers within a business day because rested people write better answers. If that sounds like your kind of place, say hi.

Get in touch

["post-151","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
