We started with a deodorant that actually worked.
Cosmetica began in a rented surf shack on the north coast, with two friends who were tired of choosing between deodorants that worked and deodorants that were kind to skin. The first batches were mixed in a kitchen, poured into paper tubes and handed out on the beach.
Six years on, the formula is still aluminium-free, still baking-soda-free, and still made in small batches. The range has grown to body wash, oils, creams, mists and eau de parfum, but every product starts the same way: a scent we want to wear, and an ingredient list we are happy to read out loud.
Everything is vegan, cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified. Bottles are glass or aluminium, boxes are recycled card, and refills cost less than the first bottle.
