The care guide
A little know-how.
A lot of happy leaves.
Start with the basics. A little light, thoughtful watering and a moment to check in will help you get to know your plant.

01 / Getting started
Your first plant.
Choose a plant that suits your space and the attention you can give it. Snake Plants and ZZ Plants are forgiving companions; a Monstera is a lovely choice for a bright room.
Begin with your room.
Notice how the light moves through the day. A bright window, a shaded shelf and a sunny balcony offer very different growing conditions.
Let it settle in.
Give a new arrival a consistent spot. Check the soil before watering and hold off on repotting until it has had time to adjust.
02 / A place in the sun
Find the right light.
Bright indirect light means a well-lit spot where the sun does not fall harshly on the leaves. It is a good starting point for many tropical houseplants.
Follow the plant, not the trend.
Read the light guidance on the product page. Succulents generally welcome brighter conditions, while a ZZ Plant is comfortable in a more softly lit room.
Make small changes.
Rotate a pot occasionally for more even growth. If you move a plant to a much brighter position, let it adjust gradually.

03 / A simple ritual
Water with attention.
A calendar is a reminder to check, not a rule to water. Your plant’s needs change with the season, the room and the pot.
Feel the soil first.
Check the product’s care guidance and feel the growing mix before reaching for the watering can. Some plants prefer to dry between drinks; others enjoy more consistent moisture.
Give excess water a way out.
Avoid leaving roots sitting in collected water. When your plant has a nursery pot inside a decorative planter, let it drain before placing it back.
Get to know its rhythm.
Look for new growth, changes in leaf texture and how quickly the soil dries. A little observation is often more useful than doing more.
