In 2014 Marcus rented half of a closed tailor shop, bought one chair at auction and hung a mirror he borrowed from his mother. The first week he cut eleven heads. Nine were friends.
The red door
The door was red because the paint was free. It stayed red because people started giving directions by it. Twelve years and four coats later, it is still the only thing we are not allowed to change.
Five chairs, one rule
Today there are five chairs, five barbers and a waiting bench that has heard every story in the neighbourhood. The one rule has not changed: nobody leaves until they like what they see in the mirror.

Thank you for sitting in the chair. Here is to the next twelve.
