Our story
One chair, a borrowed mirror and a red door. Twelve years later the door is still red.
Marcus Bell opened Hone in 2014 in half of a closed tailor shop on Foundry Lane. One chair, one mirror, and a stubborn idea: a haircut should take as long as it takes.
Today there are five chairs and a waiting bench that has heard every story in the neighbourhood. The idea has not changed. Neither has the coffee.

Foundry Lane, 8.45am. Razors get honed before the lights come on.

House rules
Three things we never skip
01
Take your time
Every appointment has ten minutes of slack built in. A good cut is never rushed to make the next booking.
02
Tools matter
Razors honed every morning, clippers serviced every week, towels hot every time. No exceptions.
03
Nobody leaves unhappy
Not quite right? Come back within a week and we will fix it for free, no questions and no awkward faces.
