Bevelled edge, solid oak back, ready to hang. The strap darkens with age like a good belt.

Our own two-person team delivers every piece, unwraps it, places it and takes the packaging away. Delivery is complimentary on orders over 500.
Live with it for thirty nights. If it is not right, we collect it at no cost. Delivery and returns
Dust with a dry cloth and wipe spills straight away. Oiled wood takes a fresh coat once a year, and every Halden frame can come back to the workshop for repair, for as long as you own it.
Made in the workshop
Built to be repaired, never replaced.
Air-dried timber, hand-cut joints and a finish you can renew at home. Every piece is signed by the maker who built it and is welcome back on the bench for as long as you own it.
Hand-planed edges
Soft to the touch and slow to wear. We shape every edge by hand before the first coat of oil.
Joined, not screwed
Mortise and tenon joints that tighten with time, so the frame outlasts the fabric many times over.
Natural fibres, undyed
Wool, linen and jute in their own colour. They soften with use and age without looking tired.
